Anticipating a quick stay, I was surprised by the hotel’s quirky charm. The self-service breakfast started ridiculously early, enabling me to refuel before my flight. Although the decor felt somewhat dated, the cleanliness was admirable. My room featured essential amenities, but I encountered puzzling cleanliness issues in the bathroom. A fascinating experience overall!

A single pack of instant coffee in the room feels inadequate, especially when other places offer more. Plus, the overall smell of bleach upon entry is overpowering and not pleasant at all.

If you're after good local eats, there's a smorgasbord of options nearby, like Malai-Thai and Keflavik Cafe that dish out some tasty flavor. Plus, the early breakfast from 4 AM is a lifesaver for those zipping to the airport! Can't beat that deal if you're on a tight schedule.
